Our client was burdened by the challenge of daily reporting
CSL were tasked with automating a daily reporting process on behalf of a client to improve business efficiency. On a daily basis, the team were manually refreshing
“Flash Reports” and distributing these to field and other head office teams, taking up valuable resource that could be used elsewhere.
Our client’s existing reporting process was very time consuming, unwieldy and inefficient: Data was manually processed into data tables, followed by an email being sent to a distribution list. As well as being extremely time consuming, there was a high risk of a human error.
Since CSL were already processing and storing the data required for these reports, the client reached out to us to extend our service to automation.
Upgrading reporting to an automated process
CSL knew their client would immediately benefit from automating the reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracy at the same time, and set on implementing a new suite of dashboards.
Reports updated included an Activity Overview, Sales vs Target, and Moving Annual Totals.
We were also able to add new, dynamic functionality so that our client could drill down into views by types of activity, territory, products etc.
