Further information:
Open Data for Health Inequalities: We all know health inequalities are a huge challenge for society and the NHS, but they also present a great opportunity for the Life Sciences industry to help in reducing these inequalities. There is a vast amount of available data, which even to the most analytical among us, can be overwhelming at times. However, by bringing disparate datasets together, you can see a clearer picture of the challenges faced by the NHS at a sub-national level
Empowering with Numbers: Team members with considerable talents are increasingly disadvantaged if they struggle to back their ideas up with evidence. This session will outline why we need to spend time thinking about how we share data as Insights professionals and makes some practical suggestions on ways to enhance this. The aim will be for participants to leave with a better appreciation of some of the barriers to understanding that impede the accurate interpretation of data across the wider business. It will provide practical examples of small changes we can all make to improve access to insights from data, and help participants understand the mechanisms by which that leads to better decision making.
