Accurate and timely data reporting is essential for informed decision-making at all levels within pharma so they can yield from strong reporting excellence. With technologies advancing at an extraordinary rate, regular reviews are critical for pharma companies to keep up with their competitors.
Our client engaged CSL to review and redevelop their existing data reporting to ensure they remain competitive in their BI processes. Therefore, CSL set out to put the excellent into reporting excellence.
Challenge: Improving existing reporting processes
Our client consulted CSL for an independent review of their existing reporting processes. The business sought our expertise in working with partners across the industry to bring up their own reporting to the industry standard.
Starting with a series of requirements-gathering sessions with internal stakeholders, key areas for improvement were identified. Summarised findings were presented to senior leadership, leading to the development and refinement of new and existing reports.
In keeping with software available to our client, these reports were primarily created in Power BI
Client success: Widespread reporting rollout
CSL developed multiple new dashboards and made critical edits to existing dashboards used business wide.
The reporting relaunch plan, presented to senior leadership, was well-received and ultimately led to the client team winning an award for the reporting developments at our clients’ company conference.
